The Miracle Is Already Here

A few years ago, I heard a piano arrangement of a song I already knew.

For reasons I couldn’t explain, it stayed with me.

It wasn’t a memory.

It wasn’t a specific thought.

It was something much simpler.

A realization.

The miracle does not happen when something extraordinary enters our lives. More often, the miracle is already there. We simply fail to notice it.

Years later, while traveling through Southeast Asia, I found myself experiencing more and more moments like that.

A sunset.

A wave.

A mountain peak.

A street musician.

A stranger’s smile.

A moment of silence in the middle of a crowded place.

Nothing extraordinary.

Yet somehow extraordinary.

After a while, I noticed something important.

These moments were not valuable because they happened in Vietnam, Bali, or Laos.

They were valuable because, for a brief moment, I was fully present.

The Miracle Is Already Here was born from that realization.

Every video asks the same simple question:

What happens if we pause for a moment?

What happens if we stop searching for something bigger, louder, or further away?

What happens if we simply look at what is already in front of us?

The videos are intentionally short.

There are no long explanations.

No lessons.

No advice.

Just an image.

A feeling.

A short reflection.

The rest is left to the viewer.

The opening words of every video are:

“Look at this.”

Not because I want to show something extraordinary.

Quite the opposite.

Because ordinary things are often far more remarkable than we realize.

A mountain.

A river.

A passing train.

A moment of silence experienced while sitting on the back of a dragon.

These videos are not really about what I saw.

They are about what you might see.

Something that was already there.

Something you almost missed.

The name of the project was chosen carefully.

It does not say:

“The Miracle Will Come.”

It does not say:

“The Miracle Was Here.”

It says:

“The Miracle Is Already Here.”

Because perhaps the most important things are not waiting for us in the future.

And they are not hidden somewhere in the past.

They are right here, exactly where we are.

Sometimes all we need to do is pause for a moment and take a look around.

Look at this.
