I am István Schulmann, a digital nomad, working on digital projects and online solutions.
For me, it is always important to find a solution to your problem - one that not only works technically, but also gives real meaning to your everyday work. That is why I work in areas where logic, structure and the human side meet: website development, ERP system implementation, business process redesign and efficiency-enhancing automation.
If necessary, I write plugins, integrate systems, or automate processes - always with the aim of ensuring that the result not only works, but is also a joy to use.
I have worked in many different fields, so I am a true "versatile professional": I quickly see the connections and am able to direct several professional perspectives towards a common goal. I am not a classic specialist - but this is exactly my strength. I see the big picture, while paying attention to the details: both the system and the people .
I am an economic informatics specialist: a bridge between IT and the economy.
I spent more than twenty-five years at manufacturing companies, where I participated in the implementation of custom-developed IFS, Vectory, QAD and SAP systems, mostly as a project manager, while building controlling systems and leading IT teams.
My creative side has always been present: for over twenty years I have been developing WordPress-based websites and solutions based on my own PHP, MySQL, JavaScript or VBA codes. I like it when design and functionality in a project do not coexist, but rather reinforce each other.
The human side has always played a big role in my work. Thanks to my business and life coaching qualifications, I have learned to see things differently: behind a development or organizational change, there is always a person, an intention and a need for cooperation.
If I had to summarize briefly: I solve complex problems, in a human way. I feel good in jobs where strategy, logic and creativity meet - and where the end result is that something finally works, exactly the way you wanted it to.
In recent years, I have consciously transformed my life: I now live and work as a digital nomad. For me, it is not only a way of life, but also a philosophy - a balance of freedom, responsibility and continuous learning.
I believe that technology does not separate, but connects: people, ideas and cultures, wherever we are in the world.
For me, being a digital nomad is about creating value from anywhere, while inspiring others to dare to step outside the box. I do my work with the same precision and commitment as before - except that sometimes there is a sea beyond the horizon, sometimes a mountain, and sometimes a new city full of new stories.
I am open to remote collaborations - either as an employee or as a contractor.
I enjoy joining projects where professional knowledge, human perspective and creativity come together - whether it's web development, ERP projects, process development or digital consulting.
I believe that technology is only worth something if it remains human, so I shape the future of work with technology and a human-centered approach.
