151. | The Greenlight Wednesday Club

Summary

This story is due to a series of coincidences. Or another example of “Synchronicity, coincidences, flow”. Or simply “I trusted the flow and let the Spirit guide me”. Life necessarily brings what it needs. It doesn’t matter to me: I love this story!

The story that started when I met a Thai woman on the street, 100 meters from where I live. As it soon turned out, she often comes here because part of her work calls her here. When I told her I was Hungarian, she told me that her partner was Hungarian too. How small the world is!

We talked twice for 10-15 minutes, and then we ran into each other again on Sunday morning. I had just come home from the store, she was working at her Hungarian friend’s villa, which I had just had the opportunity to see. If you would like to spend your time in a villa on the beach – in the northern part of the island – with one or two families here, in Koh Samui, write to me, I already have the contact.

We met the lady because she was waiting for plumbers on the street, and I came just for that. After another fifteen minutes of conversation, he told me that he and a group of friends were going to an elephant sanctuary, and asked if I would like to join them.

Isn’t it a coincidence that I had just written the background material for my article “Elephant sanctuaries” the second day, and that I wanted to go to a sanctuary this weekend? Of course I said yes!

The Greenlight

GREENLIGHT Fisherman’s Village Resort & Café, one of Koh Samui’s most beloved boutique hotels

We agreed to meet in an hour and then he would introduce me to the group. It so happened that after that hour I had the opportunity to try out the motorbike as a passenger. Greenlight is, by its own admission, a Fisherman’s Village Resort & Café, one of Koh Samui’s most beloved boutique hotels

I apologize for that, but I had to look up what a boutique hotel means! Having looked it up, I will not deprive the interested reader, who, like me, is unfamiliar with the meaning of the term, of knowledge. A “boutique hotel” means a small, special atmosphere hotel offering personalized services. Its characteristics are smaller size (usually between 10 and 50 rooms), unique style, design, furnishings, and themes that distinguish it from chain hotels, more personal service (often family-owned and with more direct contact with guests), and finally, a unique location (often located in the city center, in a historic building, or in a special natural environment). In other words: a boutique hotel is not a mass product, but an experience-oriented accommodation, where the atmosphere and details are at least as important as the services.

If you would like to spend your time with one or two families in a boutique hotel – in the northern part of the island – here in Koh Samui, write to me, I already have a contact!

I had been there countless times before Greenlight, but for some reason I hadn’t gone in there yet. Well, I was there on Sunday. We weren’t here long. I met three gentlemen, and then soon we drove to a nearby elephant sanctuary in one of their cars. (Interestingly, until the moment of writing it, it didn’t even occur to me that I hadn’t been in a car since August.) My previous post was about the elephant sanctuary I visited. Needless to say, we had already seen the elephants together, and I immediately became part of the group. We prepared lunch for the tuskers together. And there, at the sanctuary, I heard the first living Hungarian word on Koh Samui, because shortly after us, the Thai lady’s partner also joined us.

Coffee and new friends

After visiting the elephants, we went for coffee together, and over hot drinks we continued the conversation we had started in Greenlight. From the first moment, I felt that I had met a group of intellectual people. As we sat over coffee, it soon became clear that my intuition was not wrong. I obviously cannot tell you the content of the conversations, but I can say that it was a very heartwarming feeling for me to spend the morning with people who had traveled the world and had serious professional and life experiences.

The Hungarian gentleman and the Thai lady left the group, and I stayed. This happened because when the question of leaving came up, the other members of the group said that they were going to a friend’s and immediately asked what I was doing today. Since I felt good in their company, I replied that I would be happy to go with them to their friend’s.

That’s how I ended up in a villa from which you could see the whole island, it had such a panorama. Out of respect for the host, I didn’t think to take a picture. The host, like most of the company, was from my father’s time. I think my meeting with him went well, because after my introduction and a brief explanation of my presence, I naturally asked him if he would mind if I joined their company at his house. He welcomed me with pleasure.

Thai Cooking Classes on Koh Samui Authentic & Hands-On

Later, I learned that my host and his Thai wife run a Thai cooking school, which is visited by people from all over the world. If you would like to learn Thai cooking techniques in an exclusive, authentic place – at the top of the island – with one or two families here, in Koh Samui, write to me, I already have a contact!

The topics of the conversations became deeper and deeper, and in the meantime I learned that I had become a member of a group created for common thinking. It soon became clear that behavior and respect for each other are one of the very important criteria for who will be a valuable member of the company. Then I received a positive review from two members at once, saying that I meet this criterion in every way and that they are very happy to be here with them.

It is Friday evening as I write these lines, with the events of the past six days in my head. Fast-forwarding a bit, I must say that during these six days I have met members of so many nations that the intensity of the cultural experiences I have had is approximately similar to the flood I experienced on the Nomad Cruise. A Brit who lived in China for 20 years, a hotel owner born in New Zealand who lived in Japan for 25 years, a yoga teacher born in West Africa (incidentally, an excellent dance partner), Greek, Scottish, Czech, Peruvian, American, Estonian, Polish, Russian, German…

I have heard so many variations of the English language in the past few days that my head is buzzing. A few days ago, an Australian acquaintance said that he really enjoys listening to my Hungarian accent and my melodious speech. I wasn’t very excited about how I would handle serious topics with my English, especially since I had already overcome this countless times on the Nomad Cruison, but the past few days have dispelled any last doubts I had. I talked about so many things, about so many aspects and depths and heights of life, that I remember with pleasure that my language skills never once prevented me from expressing myself.

I also received an incredibly great recognition. The 72-year-old China expert, an internationally recognized speaker working with Microsoft and the US government – whose presence, radiating calm and peace, is the most sympathetic to me – suddenly “froze” after listening to one of my thoughts. While I was talking, I noticed that he had disappeared from the company for a minute in spirit. Then suddenly he spoke: “There is a lot of truth in what you said. I have never thought about it like this before. I will rethink all the relationships in my life based on what you just said!” I could only express my gratitude with a wai…

Back at Greenlight, in the company of critical thinkers

Main objectives

  1. To introduce, share, discuss and expand our knowledge regarding a wide variety of fields such as hidden history, suppressed technologies, ancient civilizations, social anthropology, occultism, eugenics, exopolitics, the space & military industrial complex, ET alliances, secret space programs, black projects, AI technology, geopolitics, the cabal banking system, food and pharmaceutical corporatism, cryptocurrencies, freemasonry and metaphysics.
  2. To form an interactive core support group that encourages members to raise their own 9 through self-internal transformation in order to enable them to find solutions to current problems, network and spread this knowledge more effectively.
  3. To empower each of us through the pursuit of truth and knowledge so we may rise above the “victim” mentality by deciding to be agents of change to help awaken others in a compassionate way so that we may all choose how we wish to interact with a rapidly-changing world, and choose what kind of planetary consciousness we wish to develop in order to create a better world for all life forms.

Have written in the Mission Statement of Samui Real. Samui Real is an ad-hoc group of like-minded truth seekers that challenges dubious official narratives regarding certain events, people and places, offering alternative theories to make sense of the world.

A great awakening is rapidly gathering momentum globally. If you are a truth-seeker and feel NOW is the time for you to play your part in the coming change, then you are meant to be here, right now, reading this…

This is a group of critical thinkers. The group was formed during Covid. Since then, they have been a group of friends, meeting every Wednesday to discuss thematic topics together. A given person or persons present the topic, which is then deepened in an open discussion. This week was the 215th meeting, and I also participated in it.

The discussions take place in a place called the “bunker”. This is a “secret” room at the end of the hotel garden, equipped with everything necessary to give several people a comfortable and technically adequate space for joint gatherings. In recent days, it has occurred to me that this is the place that every adventurous young person desires. This is the secret base.

The walls are covered with self-made information banners. Maps, timelines, summary and comparison tables, interpretive and explanatory graphs. The bookshelves are filled with books with exciting titles and in several languages. Chairs, tables, so that the meeting can be held comfortably. Screen, projector, speakerphone. Often the presentations take place via Zoom, because there are remote participants and remote speakers. Due to the proximity of the hotel kitchen and the blessed presence of the super kitchen in the bunker, no one will go hungry or thirsty during the meetings.

The topics on Wednesday were the reasons behind the rapid changes in the precious metal market, the current events of the economic tensions between the USA and China, and current discoveries in medicine. The topic suggestions themselves were also very interesting, but the questions and exchanges of ideas seriously deepened the available knowledge.

After the presentations that required intense attention, we relaxed the intellectual tension with a beer or two, but the conversations continued without stopping. Until Greenlight closed. Then, together with its owner and several other members, we went to a new place – for me – and continued the exchange of ideas there. At this place, I met even more people. It was interesting to meet people who live a life in paradise. Among the people present here, many are already retired or have material achievements, friends who are just enjoying the fruits of their former hard life. I should add that not idle.

The following was an excellent experience for me. On Thursday, I went to do laundry. On the last few occasions – and that day too – I sat in a cafe near the washing machine so that the 1 hour would pass and my clothes would be clean. As I was sitting there, the Greenlight owner called me by name, sat down next to me and spent half an hour with me.

Salsa and bachata

Yesterday (because it’s Saturday) I went to Greenlight again and took a beginner salsa and batchata class, followed by a dance party. I really enjoyed the class. I have a couple of friends who practice this type of dance, I thought about you a lot. You were right, this dance is (also) really good. A few years ago I started learning Hungarian folk dance as an adult. I really enjoyed it, just like last night was a really great experience.

Summary

As I look back on this week, I am reminded again that the best stories in life cannot be planned. We just have to let them happen to us. From a chance encounter, new friendships, inspiring conversations and a new community were born. Greenlight for me is now not just a place on Koh Samui, but a symbol: a symbol of the openness, curiosity and trust with which to approach the world. Because if we let life flow, Spirit will always lead us exactly where we need to be.
