328. | Conspiracy theories

I’ve met a lot of people in the past few months.

From all over the world.

Among the many, many topics of conversation, one regularly comes up.

Conspiracy theories.

I know now that I’m not receptive to this topic.

Theories

I’ve known quite a few theories before.

No one has ever walked on the moon. The Earth is flat. Chemtrails. 9/11 was staged. COVID–19 was intentional. Lizardmen. Illuminati.

Or, it’s an exaggeration to say that I knew them. I’ve heard about them. For some reason, I was never interested.

But on my way, I met several people who started telling me all sorts of truths.

These thoughts don’t bother me so much anymore that I don’t even remember much, except for two.

Dinosaurs didn’t exist, scientists put the bones in the ground to mislead the world.

There’s so much fluoride in my toothpaste so that our third eye doesn’t open.

Why didn’t I care? Why don’t I care now?

I wrote this post about this topic for only one reason. During a recent spiritual transformation – not by researching – I found the solution.

I find the change in myself interesting and important.

Previously, the person who wanted knowledge and demanded proof protested within me.

My stomach always lurched when someone started telling me such a theory.

First of all, these theories usually speak “against” the accepted worldview. They question what a person with general education and knowledge believes in. I think we all have a hard time facing this. I’m sure I didn’t handle this too lightly.

Let’s look at the fluoride topic. The sentences were somehow worded like this.

You know, everyone has a third eye. And we know that fluoride prevents it from opening. It’s not good for power if this third eye of people is open. That’s why there’s so much fluoride in toothpaste. To prevent the fulfillment of knowledge.

Previously, I “only” made the following comments to myself at such times.

  • Is it common knowledge that we have a third eye? I’ve heard of it, but is there a biological explanation for it, or is this just some spiritual nonsense?
  • Do we know that fluoride inhibits something that we don’t even know exists? Here we are now stating something as a basic thesis that I have to accept without question. Of course it inhibits it.
  • Power. What is this power? I know that those who don’t want it, and those who keep us in slavery, are bad and evil, Bill Gates is their leader, and they have even allied themselves with the devil. But who is the power really? I should know?
  • Of course, if this power that controls the world exists, then there is no question of what its purpose would be other than evil. We don’t like the ugly power, even if we don’t even know what it is.
  • Of course, there is a lot of fluoride in toothpaste. The percentage is not important here, nor is it what “a lot” is. Let’s accept it as a fact and be done with it.

Cynical. Obsessive. Question mark-raising.

I understand why I was always tense. The number of question marks per paragraph was so many that I didn’t see anything.

On the other hand, I’m sure that this knowledge, which seemed false to me, also blew the fuse.

The person who comes up with such a theory appears to be the possessor of knowledge. I have no judgment. The question was simply always there, “Why are you so sure of this?”.

And my main problem was always the good intentions that put violence behind such conversations.

If you want good for yourself – because I want good for you, since I share the knowledge with you – then you immediately deny your previous thinking. And you don’t brush your teeth anymore.

I was never able to throw away my values. And certainly not based on unproven arguments.

This generated the most tension in me.

The change

Many months ago I started to see the world differently.

I don’t need certainty in every question.

I accept it, and by doing so I prevent unnecessary tensions from building up in me.

On the other hand, the intuition and perception of my role in the universe (= zero) has also silenced my desire for absolute knowledge.

I no longer want to be the possessor of knowledge. I don’t want to explain everything. In fact, all that’s left now is explaining myself. Like a hobby. I love it. It’s a game I enjoy playing and I don’t hurt anyone with it.

That’s how I came to the solution.

A very good Vietnamese tour guide was explaining the third eye vs. fluoride to me.

I suddenly said the words.

My friend! I’ve heard so many stories like this. They may be true. They may not be. But I’m not really interested in them. My life now, as I see it, doesn’t change whether that third eye is open or closed. I don’t need to know about that right now. I understand that this is an important issue for you, but it’s not for me. If you don’t mind, I don’t want to talk about it.

He didn’t mind. We talked about something else.

I didn’t mind either. The other was a much, much better topic. I’m sure of that even though I have no idea what we talked about afterwards.

If you enjoyed this story, you can buy me a coffee. You don’t have to – but it means a lot and I always turn it into a new adventure.
