277. | Sunset over Cat Ba

On Saturday, as the day was coming to an end (haha, what a joke, you’ll understand soon!) I went to the place where I watched the sunset.

As I stood there and took one picture after another, a new idea came to my mind.

I’m going to make a photo series of the sunset!

I’ve never made a photo series, so-called time leaps shots before.

It was “simple”.

First of all, the ground was very hidden. Second, there was a waist-high concrete railing around the place. Of course, it was narrow and with a round top. So you couldn’t put anything on it.

So first I had to find a place for my tripod to put my phone on. For lack of a better tool, I pulled the trash can next to the concrete railing. I put the phone holder stand on top of it. But I had to put something under one of the legs so that it would stand relatively straight.

This is how my power bank ended up on top of the bin. However, the whole structure was unstable, so I had to hold the stand almost the entire time to keep it from being knocked over by the wind.

Then came the really easy part.

I stood next to the bin for 63 minutes and took a picture every minute from the same position, without moving my phone.

When I started, I thought that 15 minutes would be enough for the sun to set. It quickly turned out that it would be more like 30 minutes. It’s okay, if I can do 15, I can do 30.

But the sun wasn’t even over at 30, so I figured I could still stand next to the bin for a quarter of an hour.

In the end, it was 63 minutes. Every minute I pressed the remote control on the phone holder. Then I just counted the seconds so I could press it again.

In the end, the hour was neither longer nor shorter than usual, it was just a little more uncomfortable. In the last 5 minutes, the mosquitoes woke up too, so the ending wasn’t funny anymore.

But, I did it!

I took 64 pictures.

I hope you enjoy the gallery as much as I did this exceptional hour.

I also made the series in video format.

It was a special meditation.

And I managed to really get to know the sunset.

De, megcsináltam!

64 képet készítettem el.

Remélem, neked is olyan örömet okoz a galéria, mint amit nekem szerzett ez a kivételes egy óra.

Elkészítettem videó formátumban is a sorozatot.

Egy speciális meditáció volt az az idő.

És sikerült igazán alaposan megismerkednem a naplementével.
